Concept
The karaoke awards concept is intended to create new ways of increasing karaoke's popularity and recognition.
One way to increase popularity is to promote excellence in all karaoke business organizations.
In the year 2000, "OneNiteStan Social Club LLC" sponsored its 1st Karaoke Millennium Awards. These awards were established to promote excellence in an ever-growing karaoke entertainment business. The award categories consist of:
* Best Male (New 2008: Best Male and Female will present the next Year's Best Awards if attending)
* (Best Host of the Year will be asked to co-host the next year's Millennium Awards)
* Best Female * Favorite Karaoke Spot
* Best Duet/Group * The "Stallworth Award*"

*The "Stallworth Award" is so named in
remembrance of Yvonne Stallworth, who was a great community-minded person and a
former member who passed away in 2000. The award is intended to honor those
persons who thru giving, advocating and/or volunteering to try to make this world a little better
place for others.
Our intent is to create greater competition and additionally create a success oriented venture.
The public recognition is celebrated at the end of the year for all participating persons and organizations in November the week before Thanksgiving. We believe the Karaoke Millennium
Awards are unique and the promotional potential are endless and will benefit all participants.
